Professor Dr. Nguyen Duy Luan is a pioneer in Artificial Intelligence and a technology leader with over 30 years of leadership experience in advanced computing, AI systems, distributed infrastructure, and the commercialization of emerging technologies. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Texas (AI dissertation) at UT Austin in 1989—at a time when AI research was still in its early academic stages. He was subsequently appointed a Distinguished Alumni of the UT ECE and holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from UT Austin.

Professor Dr. Nguyen Duy Luan is the CEO and Chairman of JWC Lab Inc., an AI-based research and commercialization platform focused on drone systems, distributed intelligence, and next-generation infrastructure applications.
He previously co-founded Web Office Inc., whose products have received the U.S. Department of Commerce Export Achievement Award and the prestigious 4-Star Award from PC Magazine, with global distribution across the United States, Japan, Germany, Singapore, South Korea, and Türkiye.
