Prof. Dr. Luan Nguyen is an Artificial Intelligence pioneer and tech leader with over 30 years of leadership in advanced computing, AI systems, distributed infrastructure, and emerging tech commercialization. He received his PhD in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin (AI Dissertation) in 1989 — at a time when AI research was still in its early academic phase. He was subsequently named a Notable Alumnus of the UT ECE Department and holds an Executive MBA from UT Austin.
